Strength

Strength is forged in the fire of pain's furnace. This goes for both physical and emotional strength. In order to build physical strength you have to put your body under increased load. Your muscles burn, they feel as though they're on fire. As the muscles fiber tear and repair you become stronger. When it comes to emotional strength it is the same. You suffer the loss of a loved one, fight an addiction, or fall on tough times. Your body typically has a physical response to the emotional pain. It hurts, it burns, it seems unbearable, but then the pain subsides and you realize you made it through. Now you are emotionally stronger.

The strength comes from enduring the pain. You are stronger than you think!
